The Lake Elmo Park Reserve is one of the best places to go, being just 15 minutes from St. Paul. There are 7 miles of packed trails, looping around Eagle Point Lake. The majority of the trails are flat, but depending on which direction you choose to travel, you may encounter a few hills.Â
- Theodore Wirth Regional Park – Theodore Wirth Regional Park is one of the most popular places in the Twin Cities because it allows you to go snowshoeing in Minneapolis. In fact, this park is very popular year-round and you’ll see people hiking on the trails, sledding, cross-country skiing, and more. There are about 6 miles of multi-use trails available, all of which are groomed.
