Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your North Sport Rentals reservation, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know.

Our policy for cancellations before 24 hours

If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start of your rental period, you will be entitled to a full refund.

Our policy for cancellations after 24 hours

If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before the scheduled start of your rental period, you may be entitled to a partial refund at our discretion.

  • if we are able to rent the equipment to someone else during your reserved rental period, we will offer you a full refund.
  • If we are not able to rent the equipment to someone else during your reserved rental period, we may not be able to offer you a full refund, but we will do our best to provide you with a partial refund.
  • The amount of the partial refund will depend on factors such as how much notice you give us, the type of equipment being rented, and whether we are able to rent the equipment to someone else during your reserved rental period.
  • If you do not show up to pick up your rental equipment and do not contact us to cancel, you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • In the event of inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we may need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. In such cases, we will do our best to accommodate your needs and provide you with a full refund or reschedule your rental period at no additional cost.

Refunds for unused rental time

  • If you return the equipment before the end of your rental period, you may be entitled to a partial refund for the unused rental time at our discretion.
  • The amount of the partial refund will depend on factors such as the type of equipment being rented and how much rental time is unused.
  • We will calculate the partial refund based on the hourly or daily rental rate, depending on the rental period, for the unused rental time.
  • Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any refund for unused rental time if the equipment was returned in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition.

Damage or loss during the rental period

  • As the renter, you are responsible for any damage or loss that occurs to the equipment during the rental period.
  • We understand that accidents can happen, and we expect normal wear and tear to occur during use of our equipment. However, any damage or loss that exceeds normal wear and tear will be your responsibility to cover.
  • If damage occurs to the equipment during your rental period, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can assess the situation and determine the necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Depending on the extent of the damage or loss, we may charge you for the cost of repairs or replacements, up to the full value of the equipment.
  • If the equipment is lost or stolen during your rental period, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the equipment.
  • By renting our equipment, you agree to these terms and conditions for damage or loss during the rental period.

Late returns

  • If you return the equipment after the designated return time and without prior approval from us, you may be charged a late fee.
  • The late fee amount will be based on the rental rate for each additional day or portion of a day that the equipment is late, and will be clearly stated in your rental agreement.
  • We understand that unexpected delays can happen, so please contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate that you will be unable to return the equipment on time.
  • If you are able to return the equipment late but within a reasonable timeframe, we may be able to waive the late fee or charge a reduced fee.
  • If the equipment is not returned within a certain timeframe and we are unable to reach you, we may consider the equipment lost or stolen and charge you for the full replacement cost of the equipment.
  • By renting our equipment, you agree to these terms and conditions for late returns.
