As you may see, we have different canoes available for rent. In order to help you better understand which canoe will best fit your upcoming trip, we suggest you to first read the difference between the canoes:
- Fiberglass canoes – Such canoes are made from plastic resin reinforced with fibers of glass and other materials. Fiberglass canoes are used for recreational canoeing and weight about 66 lbs.
- Kevlar canoes – Such canoes are built with an outside layer of a clear marine grade gel coat with Polyester, S-glass, and Kevlar cloth layers and pieces sandwiching a durable foam core and rib system. Our Kevlar Fusion canoes have a optimum load range of 350-600 lbs. and industry capacity of 1000 lbs.
