About the Condition
This Yakima SkyBox 16 Carbonite has been used for two seasons and remains in excellent overall condition. The cargo box has been inspected and is fully functional. Normal light cosmetic signs of previous use may be present, including small surface marks or minor scratches, but there is no significant damage affecting normal use. Please review the product photos for the actual cosmetic condition of the unit.

The Yakima SkyBox 16 Carbonite provides 16 cubic feet of additional rooftop storage while maintaining a streamlined profile designed for road trips, camping, winter travel, and everyday transportation. Its practical size offers additional room for luggage, camping equipment, skis, snowboards, and other bulky gear while helping keep the interior of the vehicle clear for passengers.

Dual-sided opening allows access from either the driver or passenger side of the vehicle, making loading and unloading easier in different parking situations. Yakima’s SuperLatch system helps ensure the lid is securely closed, while the integrated SKS locks provide additional security for equipment stored inside.

The integrated mounting hardware allows tool-free installation and is compatible with many factory, aerodynamic, and Yakima crossbar systems. Its tapered rear design also helps provide additional clearance for vehicle rear hatches when the cargo box is properly positioned.
